Transmission Expertise

Himal hydro has constructed more than 3000 km of 33 to 132 kV transmission lines . We have a wide range of equipment for transmission line construction.

Pioneeriong Transmission

Himal Hydro is the first Nepalese company to develop transmission line maintenance procedures and to establish a maintenance crew. We are also involved in the construction of 220 kV Khimti-Dhalkebar double circuit transmission line, the first such line in Nepal.

Substation Construction

Himal Hydro successfully rehabilitated 5 nos. of 132 kV towers damaged by Koshi Flood, including 800 mm dia pile foundation (13.5m to 15m deep) and stringing within a very tight time schedule (49 days). Himal Hydro has also experience in stringing second circuit line (132 kV) parallel to a hot line. We have also constructed substation works in various locations including 132kv substations at Lamahi and Pokhara.
