Himal Hydro boasts of its unchallenged capability in Nepal for the construction of Ropeways. Starting with the Andikhola ropeway in 1984 for transporting construction materials for the project Himal Hydro has constructed various ropeways of various lengths and capacities.
Himal Hydro has built up the capability for the design and construction of water supply, drainage, sewerage and treatment plants. One of its successful project in this field is “construction works of Drainage and Wastewater Management Project in Hetauda Industrial district “which was executed in association with MT Hojgaard of Denmark. Himal Hydro was also involved in successful operation and maintenance of the project for 5 successive years after its completion.
Himal Hydro has equally exhibited its expertise in building roads and bridges. Himal Hydro’s capability can be described in terms of quick mobilization and timely construction. We have constructed roads in some of the most difficult hilly terrain with a variety of unstable geological features in Nepal such as Nayapul Kirne Road 22 km, Jiri Palati road 25km.We have also built numerous steel, RCC and suspension and suspended bridges.

Himal Hydro has conducted various topographical surveys and alignment fixation survey for various projects. Also, Himal Hydro was involved in Review and design works of various mini hydro projects under NEA/SHPD, Government of Nepal.
